The GEARING Roles project targets the questioning and transformation of traditional gender roles in research institutions at the micro, meso, and macro levels. Four targets are 1) career progression of women 2) addressing gender imbalance in the representation of women leadership, 3) strengthening the gender dimension in research programs and 4) disseminate common frameworks for the planning, assessment and evaluation of Gender Equality Plans. The team at Radboud University assesses the design and implementation of Gender Equality Plans to achieve these targets at six research institutions across Europe.
