Cancer has a major impact on people's lives and on society. Insights from data help prevent cancer, detect it faster and treat it better. For this, bringing together data sources is essential. That is why the Integral Cancer Centre of the Netherlands (IKNL) is collaborating with other renowned parties in the Netherlands in the HERACLES project. The aim: to reduce the impact of cancer by setting up an innovative, privacy-friendly infrastructure and agreement system for broad data sharing.
The following organisations are participating in the project in a public-private partnership: TNO, IKNL, Radboudumc, UMC Groningen (Palga), AstraZeneca BV, Janssen-Clilag BV, Roche Nederland BV, Almende BV, Linksight BV, Pharmo Institute NV, SURF BV, CZ Zorgverzekeringen NV and Stichting Olijf. There is also coordination with other projects, developments and parties, both national and international.
