MKB Datalab-Oost

Duration
15 May 2023 until 31 December 2027
Project type
Research
Organisation
Radboud AI

Radboud University Artificial Intelligence (FSW) and Data Science (FNWI) students organise workshops for companies and carry out projects on behalf of companies, helping entrepreneurs take their first (or next) steps in the field of AI and data. MKB Datalab-Oost also offers the masterclass AI for Business several times a year to inspire entrepreneurs to get started with AI and to raise the level of knowledge among entrepreneurs on the broad topic of AI.

A project is carried out on behalf of a (SME) company by a master's student or third-year bachelor student under the guidance of an experienced AI tutor from the university. During the intake with the entrepreneur, we formulate a concrete issue that the student will work on for a period of 6 to 10 weeks. At the end of this period, we deliver a result that helps the entrepreneur one step further with data-driven work. The client pays a fixed fee and the student receives a fixed fee for carrying out the assignment (via Campus Detachering).

SME Datalab-Oost is an initiative of Radboud University and the University of Twente and has no profit motive.
