In recent years, alarming studies have appeared about the mental well-being of young people, reinforced in part by the corona period. Access to help and support for adolescents is usually through youth services. However, high schools, in addition to educational support and psychological-referral tasks, also have (person-)formative tasks, and it is noteworthy that well-being problems of high school students are not usually associated with these.
Research question
What are the conditions in secondary schools for the use of spiritual care that contributes to person formation and thus indirectly to the well-being of students so that the pressure on youth care can be reduced?
To answer this question, the research collects relevant literature and engages with school leaders (survey) and with parents and their children (interviews).
