About this project
Addressing social challenges through entrepreneurship has been on the rise both globally and in the Netherlands in recent years. The Netherlands still lacks a specific legal form for these social enterprises and the legal framework for and legal debate on social entrepreneurship are relatively poorly developed.
The book aims to provide a thorough analysis of the legal possibilities within Dutch legal entity law for social entrepreneurship. What is social entrepreneurship? What legal forms are commonly used in practice by social entrepreneurs? What codes and labels exist for social enterprises? And how can articles of association shape the objectives of a social enterprise? The chapters are written from the perspective of positive law.
