With the Think Tank we hope to build more capacity for critical research methods and education and foster critical thinking generally. Please join us, if this speaks to you! We meet every 1-2 month for a discussion meeting to plan new events. Everyone is welcome to bring in their perspectives and ideas in a respectful and cosy environment (sometimes we even have cake).

Critical approaches refer to different methods or perspectives used to analyse, interpret, and evaluate texts, ideas, or phenomena. This allows to become aware and critically reflect upon underlying power structures and inequalities. Famous critical legal lenses are e.g. feminist approaches, third world approaches (TWAIL), critical environmental approaches and queer approaches.

The Crititcal Think Tank works in two clusters:

  1. Implementation of critical perspectives in education (contact Anna Pivaty) and
  2. Fun events around Law in Context (contact Johanna Ritter). The movie night is our first event that we will run as part of the 'Fun events'.
