Viabundus provides an open-source available, digital map of long-distance routes in Northern Europe (ca. 1350-1650) and a database with places along these routes, a fair calendar, and a route planner. The database contains information on towns, other settlements, inns, tolls on land and waterways, staple markets, fairs, ferries, bridges and other information relevant for the study of pre-modern transport and mobility.
