Project type
Research

This project stipulates that makers deserve a more prominent voice in the literary value chain. It works towards improving connections and dismantling barriers between Dutch-language makers and the institutions that facilitate their work. It aims at a more versatile, resilient and inclusive Dutch-Flemish literary sector, by researching what starting literary makers do, and why. The project team innovatively combines qualitative field research, artistic research, and literary analytical tools. In close collaboration with a large consortium across the literary sector, we create and disseminate a knowledge base now lacking, yet sorely needed by both makers and the sector they seek to enter.
