Education

The Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS) is involved in a large range of educational activities at the Faculty of Science of Radboud University and the Radboud University Medical Centre.

Bachelor's

Bachelor's courses

Researchers from RIMLS-Science are involved with the following Bachelor's courses.

Bachelor's internships

In April each year, we are able to host a cohort of about 20 BSc students for their Bachelor Internship. Check the study guides for Biology or Molecular Life Sciences for information about the Bachelor's internships.

Within our departments, we coordinate these Bachelor's internships centrally. If you are interested in joining us for a Bachelor's internship, send your motivation, CV and an overview of your bachelor's grades thus far to c.logie [at] science.ru.nl (Colin Logie). Please note that we are often fully booked in October (for the internships in April the next year). So make sure to be in time with your application, but not earlier than that you received your grade for the courses Biochemistry and Molecular Biology II.

Biology

Do you want to know how climate change affects biodiversity? Or how to improve the diagnosis and treatment of diseases? Are you fascinated by evolution, the human brain, genetics, and ecology? Then Biology is what you are looking for.

Application deadline: 15 January.

Molecular Life Sciences

Combine chemistry, biology and medical sciences in a challenging programme. Unravel the workings of healthy and diseased cells and gain the fundamental knowledge necessary for medical innovation.

Master's

Medical Epigenomics

How do all different types of cells each perform their own specific task? The explanation lies in the epigenome: a heritable, cell type-specific set of chromosomal modifications, which determines cell identity and regulates gene expression.

Graduate School

Would you like to do a PhD after you earn your Master’s degree? Our research institutes offer PhD candidates a full or part-time interdisciplinary training program that can be tailor-made.
