About Radboud Social Cultural Research
Radboud Social Cultural Research (RSCR) is a research institute at the Faculty of Social Sciences. We study changing inequalities in societies. Where possible, we practice open science and we are dedicated to team science. We work interdisciplinary in most of our research themes and we often combine research methods of various disciplines.
Our departments
Our researchers belong to one of three disciplinary groups: Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies, or Gender and Diversity Studies.
Sociology
In the Sociology Department, we study attitudes and behaviours in mostly Western societies; we conduct quantitative research on themes such as educational inequality, inclusion processes, family formation, and lifestyles.
