About Radboud Social Cultural Research
Radboud Social Cultural Research (RSCR) is a research institute at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Researchers fall under one of the three research groups: Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies, or Gender and Diversity Studies.
Mission
At Radboud Social Cultural Research, we aim to improve the understanding of (the processes leading to) inequalities in various societies.
Societal Impact
Researchers at RSCR believe in sharing knowledge with societal public and private organisations to enhance policy development. We engage in public debates and media discussions on topics such as migration, poverty, (gender) inequality, aid effectiveness, and labour market discrimination. For instance, we advised Slachtofferhulp Nederland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NGOs in Indonesia, Stichting Lezen and the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP).
