How to borrow

If you want to borrow material, it is important that you reserve it at least one working day in advance, before 1:00 PM. When making a reservation, provide the following information:

  • Student number
  • The course/purpose for which the material is needed
  • The desired pickup and return dates, considering the loan period applicable for the course/purpose.

Reservations can be made via email, by phone, or by visiting the Sociotheek. An email reservation is only final once you have received a confirmation from the Sociotheek.

Materials must always be returned before 12:00 PM, and reserved materials can be picked up from 12:00 PM onwards. When picking up material, bring your student card; it will be scanned to lend the material.

You can find the full borrowing conditions in the Sociotheek regulations.
