University Archives

The University Archives preserve the official records of various administrative bodies that were or are active within or closely related to the university. It also manages a growing collection of film and photographic materials, as well asheritage objects with a close connection to the university community.

These archives are significant  cultural and historical heritage and serve as a source of information and research on the history of Radboud University.

Collections

The archives of Radboud University are not public, but they are accessible. If you would like to see the collections, please send a reasoned request by email.

Donating archives

We welcome donations of archives and heritage objects to the University Archives. 

Employees of the University Archives are happy to think along with you in transferring archives. They can advise on what qualifies for permanent preservation, how to organize and describe the archive ,and  considerations regarding public accessibility and privacy regulations (AVG/GDPR).
