Requesting, changing or ending a parking season ticket with U-/S number
Parking subscription
Employees, students and tenants can apply for a parking subscription. A parking subscription allows you to park in all university car parks and car parks, but it does not entitle you to a parking space at a specific building. When a parking space is full, you can use other parking options on campus.
From 1 July 2026, the rates for a parking subscription will be: €30 per month for staff, students, Science Park tenants and suppliers with a contract. For non-affiliated visitors, a parking subscription costs €60 per month.
Payment for a parking subscription is by direct debit, with parking fees collected monthly in arrears.
Application
- Anyone with a U- or S-number can apply for a parking subscription via the Selfservice.
- Tenants at Science park can apply for a parking pass using the form at the bottom of this page.
- Employees with a Z number who wish to park at the University can submit a request via Parking locations - Radboudumc (login required).
- Employees with an e-number or for (external) companies can fill in the form "Parking subscription company or external employee". This request form, once downloaded and completed, can be sent to: parkeren-cf [at] ru.nl (parkeren[at]ru[dot]nl.)
For new students
Applying for a parking subscription
New students can apply for a parking subscription via the Selfservice from the start of the academic year, not before. Want to park before that? No problem - just take a ticket at the barrier and pay per time.
- The subscription is loaded onto the personal student card. Don't have a student card yet? Apply for one well in advance of the start of the academic year via Student Affairs so that you receive it on time.
- Students with an e-number can fill in an application form and they will receive a separate parking pass.
Cancelling a parking subscription
You can cancel your parking subscription every month. Make sure you cancel your subscription in time if you leave your job or are (temporarily) not using your parking subscription for another reason. The notice period is at least one calendar month. The notice period also applies to a temporary interruption of your parking subscription.
If you have a u or s number, you can cancel the subscription via the Selfservice.

Licence plate recognition
At the car park on Verlengde Erasmuslaan (P7A), the Gymnasion multi-storey car park (P7B), the Grotius multi-storey car park (P6) and the Huygensgebouw multi-storey car park (P11), parking is managed using number plate recognition. From mid-August 2026, this will also apply to the following Radboud University car parks: Platolaan car park (P10), Houtlaan car park (P13) and Toernooiveld car park (P12).
Your number plate is automatically recorded at the entrance to the car park. For season ticket holders, the number plate is linked to the season ticket. If you arrive with a new or different number plate, you will need to use your pass the first time to link it. Season ticket holders with more than one car must use their student or staff card every time they park a different car.
Park within the parkingspaces
Please note that it is not allowed to park outside the parkingspaces, for example on the grass or along the paths. We therefore ask everyone to park in the designated spaces only.
