Accessing literature off-campus

Off-campus access

Students and staff from Radboud University and Radboud university medical center have off-campus access to University Library subscriptions such as those for e-journals, e-books and search systems. You can log in with your Radboud account to get access to the digital library.

Logging in

There are several different ways to log in

  • You can log in with your Radboud University or Radboud university medical center account before you start searching. This will subsequently give you the same options that are available on campus and means that you will be able to use one of the library’s databases.
  • Using a VPN connection will provide you with the same options as those that are available on campus

At the following points of access, a login screen will appear if needed:

  • E-journals
  • Search systems
  • ‘Full text’ button for articles within a search system
  • E-books

Access via apps and tools

When you use the Lean Library browser extension, access to the digital library will be available in your browser. Or you can use BrowZine to create a personalised magazine rack so that you can read and save e-journals on your PC, tablet or computer.
