Making a purchase suggestion for the literature collection

If you have a suggestion for the purchase of a specific publication, you may use the Purchase Suggestion form to submit your request.

Who can submit a request

Anyone can submit a purchase request. However, a request from an academic staff member or student from Radboud University will take precedence over a suggestion from someone who is not affiliated with the university.

Please note: If you work at one of the following faculties, you will need to contact your department’s Purchasing Coordinator first:

  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies
  • Nijmegen School of Management
  • Faculty of Social Sciences

Approval or rejection of your request

Not every request will be approved. A publication must conform to the University Library’s collection development policy. Budgetary considerations also play a role. A request for purchasing a book is usually more likely to be approved than a request for a magazine or information file, because these types of subscriptions invariably involve structural costs.

You will receive an email to let you know whether your request has been approved.
