Can it be harmful if your fingers get numb from the cold?

White or blue hands from the cold? One in ten people suffers from this in winter. Those discolored, chilled fingers are often harmless, but they can also indicate an underlying disease. In this episode, rheumatologist Madelon Vonk (Radboudumc) explains why your hands change color in the cold and how you can recognize an underlying illness from those discolored hands.
