Lecture and conversation | Radboud Reflects And Faculty of Law

Venue: Lecture Hall Complex, Radboud University
This programme is Dutch spoken.

Who owns an idea? Since the rise of AI, it is no longer self-evident that a text, song or work of art was always created by a human being. But who owns a piece of culture generated by AI? Is using data without permission to train AI models a form of theft? Or is our idea of ownership simply outdated? Come and listen to scholar of law Charlotte Vrendenbarg and cultural scientist Vincent Meelberg and learn more about what AI does to copyright, creativity and originality.
