How to Choose a Name for a Radboud Building, Room or Path?
Wednesday 30 October 2024 | 14.30 - 16.30 hrs | Huize Heyendael, Radboud University
Would you like to think along about naming buildings, paths and rooms on campus and you want to share what is important to you in it? Please join us in the English dialogue session. A small group of a maximum of 25 staff and students will discuss the naming framework further under the guidance of an experienced moderator. Members of the Radboud Campus Naming Committee will not be present, but a substantive report will be submitted to the committee afterwards.

Erasmus, Spinoza, Maria Montessori or Elinor Ostrom. What does the university want to achieve by naming a building, room or path on campus? How was the name determined in the past and how should we do it in the future? The Radboud Campus Naming Committee is facing this last question. Come and listen to heritage expert and chairman of the committee Johan Oosterman about how the naming came about so far, what is under discussion and what the committee's remit is. Think along and provide input for their report, which the committee will use to advise the Executive Board.
