What happens to your brain as you grow older? We often associate aging with decline and forgetfulness. Yet the brain of an older person also contains far more knowledge than that of someone just starting out. Moreover, today’s elderly are much more active and self-reliant than they were a few decades ago.
What are the most important changes in the aging brain? Do we age differently now than in the past? And to what extent has our view of aging itself changed?
Come and listen to neuroscientist Linda Geerligs and elderly care expert Marcel Olde Rikkert, and reflect on the aging brain.
The language of discussion is Dutch.
