Thursday 11 and Friday 12 September 2025 | Koor Stevens' Church
Look, feel, experience, write—and together create a story of the Waal.
The meaning of infinity is beyond what we can grasp through human experience. Yet we have endless words for it: extraordinary, eternal, endless, boundless, unlimited, everlasting, countless. Infinity is unbounded—in time, space, events, and emotions.
This limitless stream of associations and thoughts can begin simply by looking at water, at the river. That’s exactly what we seek during the science festival Infinite: space for experiences that reach beyond the everyday.
We ascend via the scaffolding of the Skywalk. For many, that alone is a transcendent experience.
Then you may rise even further—above the Waal, wherever your mind takes you. [H.: “Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?” D.: “Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”]
After this flight, we take time for a short co-creative assignment: look, feel, experience, write. Together we’ll craft a story of the Waal—a river of paper and thoughts, with your inner world as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
