You are Nijmegen citizen, Dutchman. Maybe you feel like a Gelderlander, Brabander or Limburger. All these identities help us as citizens to define and shape our place in society. But what about our European citizenship? Do we also feel connected to the community that unites us as Europeans? This is an increasingly relevant question, especially given the growing role of European institutions in our daily lives.

In the run-up to the European elections, come hear MEP Toine Manders and political scientist Anna van der Vleuten discuss the extent to which European citizenship exists, whether it is linked to a European identity and how it relates to the city, region and country we also feel connected to.
