When does a forest fire threaten nature and when is it part of it? And should man always want to control the flames? Every summer has its major forest fires nowadays. Fire often destroys everything in its path. But a fire at times is also part of nature, and in some ecosystems it is even indispensable. So should we always want to tame the fire? Don’t we only make things worse in doing so? And what does our perception of forest fires say about the way we think of nature? Come and watch a short film by Go Short and, together with philosopher Martin Drenthen and ecologist Bjorn Robroek, think further about what forest fires say about humans and nature
