Although Ibn Arabi (1165 -1240) always held a controversial position within Islam, he is at the same time one of its most influential intellectuals and has had a profound impact on the development of the religion.
Come and listen to Islamologist Harald Viersen, who will speak about the society in which Ibn Arabi lived and explain why his ideas continue to hold universal value.
