Imagine how much space there would be for recreation and greenery if half of all parking spots in ordinary streets were transformed into nature. How much safer would the center of Nijmegen become for cyclists and pedestrians if cars had less access?

Frank van Caspel is a cognitive philosopher at Radboud University, and in his free time an avid cyclist.
