Infinite Solutions (and Limitations) of AI - Neuroscientist, philosopher and AI expert Pim Haselager | Infinity

21.20 - 21.40 hrs | Zuiderkapel | Thursday 11 September 2025 | English spoken

How do we ensure that AI has its proper place in society, so that we don't let robots do all the fun work?

Why do we build chatbots to solve loneliness in the elderly, instead of robots that can change beds? Why do we want AI in front of classrooms, instead of using AI for grading?

Pim Haselager looks at the social implications of AI. Because there's no denying that AI plays a role in our society. Join Pim Haselager in thinking about where AI will be in our society ten years from now.
