What is it like to be persecuted for who you are? What does fleeing violence and oppression do to you? Dutch 87-year-old Emmy Drop-Menko and 25-year-old Iraqi Wahhab Hassoo both had to deal with it in their own way. Both had to flee genocide as children, in the Netherlands and Iraq, respectively. Emmy and Wahhab met during a schoolproject about freedom and since then they regularly perform together to talk about their experiences. Come listen to their moving stories and think further about freedom and the marks left by persecution.
