Come listen to environmentalist Ad Ragas and think further about plastic pollution and then listen to the music of Soundtrack of the Plastic Age, on instruments made from plastic waste.

The talk will be in Dutch.

About the speaker and musicians

Ad Ragas is professor of Human and Ecological Risk Assessment at Radboud University. His main expertise is in modeling human and ecological risks of chemicals, including (micro)plastics.

Soundtrack of the Plastic Age - Turns plastic waste into full-fledged musical instruments. The goal is to prove that something that seems to have lost its function can be of value again. Founder and drummer Rogier de Nijs: “I use music to bring attention to the plastic crisis and to me that feels like the most powerful tool I can use.” See it as a statement against throwaway culture and for a cleaner world with beautiful music!
