About the speakers
Lisa Doeland is an environmental philosopher at Radboud University. She researches how the words we use around sustainability reflect our modern ways of thinking.
Linde van Schuppen is a philosopher at UMC Utrecht and Radboud University. She conducts research into stories about radically subjective and transformative experiences, such as psychosis and grief. She combines methods and insights from linguistics, narrative theory, cognitive philosophy, and the philosophy of psychiatry. She is currently trying to figure out what it means to learn from (disruptive) experiences and experiences alone.
This program is part of Denkwerk Festival of Radboud Reflects at Radboud University, on Saturday, 7 March 2026 at De Lindenberg in Nijmegen. Through (silent) interviews, lectures, music, films, and more, philosophers, theologians, and scholars of religion from Radboud University will encourage you to think more deeply about the major questions of our time.
