The Problem Wolf | Silent Interview with Environmental Philosopher Martin Drenthen | Denkwerk 2026

The shooting of “problem wolf” Bram caused a great deal of controversy in the Netherlands. It reveals much about how we view nature and humanity. On the one hand, we see the wolf as a wild, untamed beast; on the other, we give him a name. Put on your silent disco head phone and listen to environmental philosopher Martin Drenthen as he discusses our ideas about the boundary between humans and nature, and how we might coexist with the wolf.

Saturday 7 March 2026 | 21.40 - 22.10 h.| Waalpodium (100 p.) | De Lindenberg, Nijmegen

The event will be in Dutch.
