Review follows shortly
What if time is not a straight line, but elastic and relative? When you look through a telescope, you see the past: light from stars that was emitted millions of years ago — and may no longer exist. Moreover, time is distorted by the speed at which you travel and by heavy celestial bodies such as black holes. What does all this mean for us as earthlings, for our understanding of the past, present, and future? And where in time are we, if the ‘now’ is different everywhere? Learn from astronomer Agnes van Hoof and think further about time in space.
