RSC members can, as a team, participate in internal field hockey competition organized by us. The competition takes place in October and November. A team must consist of at least 10 people.
The schedule will be created based on the number of registrations. During the group phase we try to have each team play once a week. At the end of the period, after the group phase, a knockout phase with ultimately a final will take place. The matches are played on half a hockey field, 7 against 7 (no goalkeeper!). Make sure you have a hockey stick, shin guards, and a mouthguard; all three are mandatory for this competition. You don't need any previous competition experience, but you do need to know the basic rules and be able to use a hockey stick. In case of insufficient interest, RSC may decide not to allow the competition in question to go ahead; the registration fee will then be refunded. If there is a lot of interest, first come, first served.
Internal mixed competition 2025/2026
Enrollment: Monday 15 to Thursday 25 September, register with a minimum of 10 people.
Competition: Starts at the beginning of October. Match days from Monday to Thursday from 17:00. Soon after the registration deadline you will receive further information, including the schedule and regulations.
Costs: € 27.50 per team.
Period 2 (spring 2025)
Enrollment: Tuesday 25 February (noon) to Friday 28 February, register with a minimum of 10 people. (Player list deadline 1 week later)
Competition: Starts at the end of February or beginning of March. Match days from Monday to Friday from 17:00. Soon after the registration deadline you will receive further information, including the schedule and regulations.
Costs: A one-off €23.95 registration fee per team.
Location
The matches take place on the fields of the Gymnasion (Heyendaalseweg 141).
Participation
A 2025/2026 subscription to Radboud Sport & Culture is required. When registering, a form is completed and sent containing all the names of the players on the team with the subscription numbers. It is checked whether all participants have a valid subscription. If a team is caught twice with a non-member participating, it will be disqualified and removed from the competition.
Decisions
The Internal Competitions Committee has the right to make decisions that are necessary for proper conduct of the internal competition.
Enrollment
You can register by downloading the registration form and filling it out completely. This form will be at the bottom of this page during the registration periods. You will receive more information soon after the registration deadline. A complete player list must be submitted one week after the registration deadline (including the name and subscription number of each team member). After receiving this email, you can make the payment at the RSC counter in the Gymnasion (you can only pay with card here). You must have paid before the start of the competition. Registration is only final once you have paid and the player list has been submitted. There is room for a maximum of 18 mixed teams. The following applies to registrations: full is full.
