We meet at the University Chaplaincy several times a week to share a meal, hold choir practices or have a games night. On this page you will find information about all our regular activities.

Monthly
Film club
From October, we show a film every first Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. in the chaplaincy’s living room. We watch arthouse films that have received good reviews at various film festivals. The films are multicultural and from a variety of genres. Film nights are in English, and all films have English subtitles. Afterwards, we discuss the film; we share our own thoughts and feelings and our own take on the film to broaden our horizons.

Community dinner and games night
Every second Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. we have a potluck dinner and games night. Everyone brings some food to share, and the cooking team also provides some snacks. You can also volunteer to help with the cooking.
Theology on Tap
Every third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. we meet at the University Chaplaincy for ‘Theology on Tap’, followed by drinks at Cultuurcafé on campus. Everyone is free to join, you don’t need to sign up.
The evening is led by university chaplain Joseph Geelen and assistant professor Joshua Furnal (joshua.furnal [at] ru.nl (joshua[dot]furnal[at]ru[dot]nl)).
Other activities
The initiative group regularly organises activities for the community (often after the 11 a.m. Sunday ecumenical service). This might be a lunch, but it could also be a good chat, a walk or a singing session. Would you like to be kept informed of our activities?
