With the arrival of generative AI, such as ChatGPT, artificial intelligence (AI) and its significance for our education has received a lot of attention. In this Special Interest Group, we want to share knowledge on AI and education from different faculties and disciplines. What developments are there and how can we use them responsibly in our education? The level varies but you will definitely find connection, recognition and space to share.
Goals
- Create a community of AI enthusiasts and professionals in our education. Think, for example, of experience experts, professionals and supporters. The most important thing to participate is that you are first and foremost interested. Everyone is welcome.
- Sharing knowledge with each other on the impact of AI on education.
- Looking at the implications AI has for assessment, such as writing a paper, for example.
What is a Special Interest Group?
A Special Interest Group (SIG) consists of people who are united through their interest in an education-related topic. The Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre facilitates the SIG so they can research and delve deeper into the subject together. SIG meetings are always open to everyone - whether you are joining for the first time or have attended many times before. Each meeting provides space for new perspectives, fresh ideas and valuable exchange. So feel welcome to join, even if you don't know the SIG yet!
