Attend a presentation on Copyright in Education

Do you know what you can and cannot share with students via Brightspace? Almost all articles, books, images, and other materials are protected by copyright, even when they are freely available online. Radboud University and Radboudumc make use of the Easy Access Agreement, which makes the reuse of copyrighted material in education easier. This agreement has recently been extended until August 2031. Learn more about it during one of the presentations.

In a short 30-minute presentation, you will learn what copyright is, what the rules of the agreement are, and how to easily and correctly apply these rules in courses and teaching materials. Registration is available via the Library Calendar:

Open Educational Resources

The presentation will also briefly cover Open Educational Resources (OER). These materials can always be used without restrictions. It is also possible to develop your own Open Educational Resources.

The presentation will also explain how to properly attribute images and provide tips on where to find free images that can confidently be used in PowerPoint presentations.
