Intervention will be necessary to maintain a strong financial position for the university in the future. In that context, the Executive Board had already decided in May to reconsider the Campus Plan. However, that will not be enough to resolve the financial problems facing the university in the coming years. All the budgetary units will need to contribute. Bleak financial outlook for university
The financial perspective for Radboud University does not look bright in the coming years. We too are affected by the significant cuts in state funding to universities. At the same time, costs continue to rise due to increased wage costs and overall inflation. Furthermore, the outline coalition agreement is proposing austerity measures for academic higher education, which are due to be implemented in the short term.
