From 1 January 2023, the collective discount on basic insurance will expire. This applies to everyone in the Netherlands and to all health insurers. This is a government decision.
Radboud University has a collective health insurance contract with health insurer VGZ, so the group discount on the basic insurance will lapse there too. Discounts will still be possible on the supplementary insurance. At VGZ, the group discount on the supplementary insurance will remain 15% next year as well.
For 2023, various choices are possible; it is also possible to take out your basic insurance elsewhere and keep the supplementary insurance with a collective discount with VGZ. For more information on collective health insurance, please visit the website.
