In September, the one-time payment of €350 (based on a full-time employment contract) will be paid out. This year, there is tax room to pay the one-time bonus net. Therefore, no tax will be withheld from the one-time payment — a benefit for everyone!

Collective Labour Agreement increase in August and one-time (net) payment in September
On 23 July 2025, the new Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities 2025–2026 was finalized. With the August salary, the Collective Labour Agreement increase effective from 1 July 2025, will be paid out. This means that this month you will receive the increased salary for August plus a retroactive payment for July.
