E-learning module on digital security: For your eyes only

Digitisation allows us to do our work faster, more reliably, and more efficiently, but new opportunities also bring new responsibilities. Technology protects. You make it safe. Follow the e-learning and learn how to work safely online.

Digital threats are increasingly becoming more sophisticated, harmful, and large-scale. Curious eyes are ever on the look-out for valuable information... and not everyone has good intentions. The information you work with is also valuable, and you decide with whom you share it. After all, no matter how strong our technical precautions are: their strength lies in how you handle information.

In the For your eyes only e-learning module, you will learn how to work safely online. You are helping to organise a fictional conference on digital security. As you progress, important themes come to the fore. Since this e-learning module is specially designed for university employees, you can immediately apply what you learn in your work.

Start* the e-learning: For your eyes only

* The e-learning course is available in gROW. Select “automagic login”.

In this e-learning module, you will:

  • follow the preparation phase as well as the conference day itself
  • recognise risks, such as suspicious emails, unapproved tools, or the sharing or near-sharing of sensitive information
  • choose the right approach each time to prevent incidents, thus protecting the university's continuity and reputation

Depending on your pace, you can complete the entire e-learning module in about 30 minutes. If you are unable to complete it in one sitting, you can pause in between and resume at a later time.

Digital security starts with all of us.
