A recent survey in the Employee Panel shows that Radboud Recharge is already a familiar name to 66% of staff. Support staff within faculties lead the way, with 70% familiarity, while Radboud Services employees score slightly lower (62%). Among the older generation of employees (56-67 years old), familiarity is as high as 70%. However, there is still a large group that does not know the platform, or does not know what it entails, so there is still a world to be won within the various target groups.
A treasure of inspiration
More than 83% of employees have already visited Radboud Recharge, often to read inspiring articles. Younger employees aged between 25 and 40 are particularly active, with 91% of this group regularly consulting the website. Despite these figures, only 35% of employees indicate that the platform strongly connects them with the university. This shows that there are more opportunities to increase Radboud Recharge's impact.
Employees have offered valuable suggestions for improvement:
- More personal stories and interviews: 33% want to hear more about the people behind the science.
- Updates on events and discoveries: 30% appreciate regular updates.
- Accessible and practical content: Shorter posts and professional development tips are mentioned by 28%.
Better Communication, Greater Reach
Radboud Recharge uses various channels to reach its audience. The newsletter, an important communication tool, is received by 51% of employees, 36% of whom read it weekly. 45% prefer to receive the newsletter monthly. On social media, 47% are fans of previews with direct links to full articles, while 33% say they have no interest in social media content.

With an average satisfaction score of 6.86 on a scale of 10 (for academic staff: 7.18), Radboud Recharge has already laid a solid foundation. But there is room for growth.
