Since its launch in 2002, RHA has provided an extra academic challenge to over 20 generations of students, some of whom have gone on to become valued colleagues within our faculty. The programme’s core features a blue-skies multidisciplinary research project, designed by second-year Bachelor students from across the faculty. This is followed by an extended bachelor’s research project in their third year, often including participation in international conferences or collaborations with renowned research groups abroad.
Thanks to the Faculty Board’s commitment, we can continue to inspire and challenge students who are eager to go the extra mile.
How can you help?
To further strengthen RHA, we invite all colleagues to get involved:
- Join the programme board: we welcome representatives from all research institutes.
- Mentor a group of motivated students: guide them as they develop their multidisciplinary research proposals. Each year, we seek five staff members for this activity.
