We all encounter cybercrime at some point. A fake message from the tax authorities, a request to buy gift vouchers for a colleague or an email with a strange request. With the advent of AI, it is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish between real and fake messages. That is why it is important that you know what to look out for when it comes to phishing and that you make the right choice when you encounter cybercrime. For example, when reporting phishing.
Clean up your mailbox
Cleaning up your mailbox regularly has a number of advantages. You can find messages more quickly, you use less data storage (better for the environment and your wallet) and you avoid working with old documents or information. Moreover, you are not allowed to keep everything indefinitely (legal retention periods). There are tricks for cleaning up quickly so you don't have to delete each email individually. You will also receive tips on where best to store your work-related information. After all, your mailbox is not an archive.
