There is no need to register. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the privacy and security experts who are giving the fast class.

Topics fastclasses

Recognising and reporting data breaches

Have you received an email containing confidential information that was not intended for you, seen personal data in a system that was not intended for you, or do you suspect that criminals have stolen data in some way (e.g. through phishing)?

During this fastclass, you will learn to recognise data breaches and know when it is important to report a breach. Spoiler: always!

Recognising and reporting phishing

Criminals use phishing to try to hack into your device in order to steal your data and possibly gain access to the university's systems. The days of phishing emails with spelling mistakes are over. By using AI and data found online, cybercriminals can make targeted attempts to lure you into a trap.

This fastclass shows you how to recognise phishing and why it is important to report it.

Cleaning up your mailbox

What you don't have can't be stolen. A locked cabinet or tidy mailbox helps protect (sensitive) data. In the fastclass “Cleaning up your mailbox”, you will receive tips on how to clean up your mailbox efficiently, but you will also learn what you should keep (retention periods and archiving). Tip: Also fun to follow with your teammates.
