In the past exam periods, more and more exams with assessment software Ans have taken place. Exams with Ans and additional software such as SPSS have also been successfully administered. The implementation of Ans is therefore proceeding according to plan. Ans will fully replace Cirrus by September 2024.
Transferring exam questions from Cirrus
We are working on the conversion of exam questions from Cirrus to Ans. The results of the trial conversions show that we can transfer the vast majority of the questions well, including the images. The first conversion of item banks will take place at the end of May. The faculty coordinator of your faculty knows exactly which courses are involved; These are courses with exams in semester 1 of academic year 2024/2025. The second conversion will follow in September, after completion of semester 2 of academic year 2023/2024. The data currently stored in Cirrus will be archived in the autumn (if necessary).
Your Faculty Coordinator Digital Assessment (FCDT) coordinates the transition from your exams to Ans. Do you have questions about assessing with Ans? Please contact your FCDT.
Background project implementation Ans
To manage the transition from Cirrus Assessment to Ans, a project group has been appointed, all faculties are represented in the project group.
