FSW Team improves its ranking at the Zevenheuvelenloop (Seven Hills Run)!

On Sunday the 17th of November, 25,000 participants challenged themselves to best the hills around Nijmegen during a 15 kilometre run. In 1984, it all started as a small run with 500 participants, but these days it’s a big sporting event in Nijmegen with international appeal. The weather was rarely ever so nice; sunny with a little breeze. This resulted in a world record at the 15 kilometres.

Team spirit was the top priority for our team from FSW. However, we, too, profited from the nice weather. We finished 19 places above our result from 2023 in the team ranking, ending on the 57th place out of 303 teams total. With this kind of progression we need three more editions to wind up in first place!

Next year we’ll follow up on this SMART-formulated plan and participate again with a team. If you’re interested in participating, or interested in running with some colleagues once every two weeks (as some colleagues are already doing), contact Hidde Bekhuis.
