Your experiences are very important in order to paint a representative picture of how universities recognize and value the work of their scientists. We therefore greatly appreciate your participation in this survey!
Completing the survey will take a maximum of 10 minutes of your time. It is not possible to save the answers in between. The survey is focused on academic staff.
The Recognition & Rewards program
In 2019, together with the other Dutch knowledge institutions and science funders, we started the program Erkennen & Waarderen. We are also actively involved in this within Radboud University. Through dialogue tables, we worked toward a widely supported Recognition & Rewards vision. In 2023, the Radboud program was also launched. The shared goal of the national program is to recognize and value our work more broadly by paying more attention to the various core domains (research, education, impact, leadership and patient care) in which scientists work. Many scientists experience an overly one-sided emphasis on research performance, which means that work in other domains regularly receives insufficient attention. With the Recognition & Rewards program, we are working toward a new balance in recognizing and valuing our staff where every talent counts.
Culture Barometer
Now that we are a period in progress, we would like to know what you, as a scholar, have already noticed about the program. To gain insight into the developments surrounding Recognition & Rewards, we are conducting a "Culture Barometer" as part of the national Recognition & Rewards program. The barometer is conducted by independent research agency Berenschot. The data will remain in their possession, and will not be shared with the client or institutions. An overall report is prepared, and for each institution an institutional report.
