Why is the NSE important?
Radboud University sees the NSE as the way to identify what is going well and where we can improve our education and facilities.
Insight into student opinions and potential for improvement
The results of the NSE form the basis for improvement actions within programs and university-wide, in the field of various themes. This year with an additional focus on the themes of Well-Being and Social Safety.
Major influence on study choice of future students
The results of the NSE are used in information sources such as the Keuzegids and Studiekeuze123.nl, which prospective students use in their study choice. The Radboud Welcome Survey shows that more than 80% of our students base their course choice on the results of the NSE.
Visibility and reputation
Based on the results of the NSE, the Keuzegids (largely) determines our place in the annual ranking of universities and which programs receive the predicate top program. The results of the NSE therefore influence the visibility and reputation of our university.
Your role as a teacher
A higher response rate ensures more accurate and representative results and ultimately strengthens our position as an educational institution. In addition to central and decentralized promotional activities, we know from previous years that encouragement from within the program itself is one of the most effective ways to increase response rates.
