My name is Renée Nuytinck-Heijs, and as of 1 September, I will be starting as a legal advisor at FNWI. This is a special step for me, as I studied law at Radboud University and look back on my student days in Nijmegen with great pleasure.
After my studies, I have always worked as an in-house counsel, most recently at Bovemij Insurances, gaining experience in providing legal advice primarily within commercial environments. Now, I am excited to make this transfer to the university, where I can apply my experience in a socially engaged and academic environment.
I live in Nijmegen with my husband and our three children (ages 8, 5, and 3). In my free time, I enjoy running, field hockey, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors for a walk or a run through the woods.
