Join Digital Cleanup Day

Our digital storage grows every day. New documents, versions and folders are added, whilst old or duplicate files remain. Without regular tidying up, information becomes scattered and the amount of stored data grows rapidly. Digital Cleanup Day on Saturday 21 March is a good opportunity to reflect on this and tidy up your digital environment.

A tidy digital environment makes it easier to find information, improves collaboration, helps keep data secure and organised, prevents unnecessary storage and reduces CO2 emissions. So there are plenty of reasons to tidy up your departmental folder, working group folder or Teams.

Help with tidying up

Would you like to organise a digital clean-up with your team? Sign up for a clean-up session led by a functional administrator via the application form: Digital Cleanup Day.

During the clean-up session, we’ll look at, for example:

  • which documents are still relevant;
  • which files can be archived or deleted;
  • how the folder structure can be organised more clearly.

Join in and help make our digital work environments clearer, safer and more sustainable.
