On Tuesday 9 June, the fourth edition of the FNWI Education Day took place. Lecturers, students and other colleagues came together to exchange ideas, gain new insights and inspire one another.
A brief review
- Laura van Niftrik opened the Teaching Day and highlighted the faculty's new education vision.
- hroughout the day, participants could choose from twenty sessions on topics such as peer feedback, critical thinking, the role of student assistants, open textbooks, challenges and issues in education, and interdisciplinary education.
- The Lightboard was wheeled into the room and participants were given a live demonstration.
- During lunch, Sharon Kolk spoke with Koen and Lennert about their TLC voucher for educational research, and Hendrik and Bjorn were asked a few questions about the innovative teaching projects awarded a Comenius grant.
- The day was rounded off with drinks and further discussion.
