National Student Survey 2026 to launch

On Wednesday, 14 January, the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026 will begin. This annual, nationwide survey among all students in higher education invites students to share their views on their programme and on Radboud University.

Why is the National Student Survey important?

The National Student Survey (NSS) is one of the most important instruments for collecting student experiences in a nationally comparable and systematic way. It forms a key foundation for the internal quality assurance processes of programmes and faculties.

In addition, NSS results are used in widely consulted external information sources, such as the Keuzegids (see recent news) and the website studiekeuze123.nl. A sufficient and representative response rate is essential: only then do the results provide a reliable picture, and only then can programmes be included in these external information sources.

Will you help achieve a good response rate?

The request to lecturers, study advisers, programme coordinators and programme directors is to encourage students to complete the NSS. A short email or a brief mention during a lecture, mentor meeting or study advisory session can already make a difference.

Students will receive a personal invitation by email via their student email address on Wednesday, 14 January. Read more information about the NSS
